Dating Has Become a Haven for Married Men and Woman I
know many of you think Internet Dating looks fun and I am sure you get many responses
but I want to warn you that many married people are setting up profiles on the
internet dating sites. I can not tell you how many of their spouses have written
to me and said they have seen their spouse's hidden pictures and profiles on these
sites with further investigation.
Some are married, some are in "committed"
relationships. Are they there for romantic or sexual thrills or are they checking
out the market place for being single again? Some of these married people have
conveniently forgot they are in a relationship already or the fact they got married.
Never before has the dating scene been so convenient for the married person. Remember
people have time to stage their answers on the internet and can be whoever they
want to. There is no body language.
The
Internet will soon become the most common form of infidelity, if it isn't already.
Most spouses feel as betrayed, angry and very emotionally hurt by online infidelity
as they would if skin-to-skin adultery had taken place.
If you have any
suspicions about your date you are probably right. It is better for you to choose
the internet date. If you go out on a date and never see their residency that
is a sure give-away. Remember any one can have a cell phone.
Be clear about
what type of relationship you want. If you are looking for a long-term relationship
and your interest is only looking for dating this may not go very far. People
are creatures of habit. Google their handler name and you can see if they are
on swinger's sites, etc. I found this out from most of the married people who
write to me and their significant partner is actually looking for a sexual partner.
So be careful and don't rush.
To prevent future problems, married couples,
as well as long-term committed couples, need to talk about what role the Internet
will play in their relationship.
